Can my driving privileges be revoked due to money owed ins. co. for minor car accident that happened
when my insurance had lapsed?

Additional Details:
I was involved in a minor accident during a time when my insurance had lapsed. The other ins. co.,
stating I was at fault, is threatening to have my driving privileges revoked if I don''t start
making immediate payments for damages to the other vehicle.
Legal Topic Area: Automobile Accidents in CA

This threat will not be carried out (most likely --- it can happen just because you did not have insurance) unless you are found to be at fault for the accident in a court trial, and a judgment is entered against you which you don't pay. Do yourself a favor: get insurance and do something to fight the people who are trying to pressure you to pay money you think you don't owe.
